Sustainable Solutions

During research and development, we assess every component of the formula to ascertain ecological and environmental impact, and we only develop product formulas which are recyclable at the end point of their service life. Furthermore, during manufacture we operate with a focus on energy efficiency and minimizing pollution; utilizing our own inhouse

recycling facilities to reduce/re-use/recycle 100% of our own production waste.

Traditionally many polymer composite extrusions have used heavy metals-based stabilizers which can have serious negative environmental impacts. At Atlon, we only ever specify environmentally friendly and non-toxic stabilizers.

Our commitment to sustainable product development and manufacturing practices is absolute, as we strive to minimize the ecological footprint of modern construction materials. By incorporating our own recycled materials, reducing waste, and optimizing energy efficiency in our processes, we contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.

At Atlon our concerns around environmental impact and sustainability are present at every stage of our process.

Atlon Solar PV Array

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability and our ongoing effort to reduce our carbon footprint, in 2018 Atlon installed a total of 12,000 square metres of PV solar panels capable of generating more than 2.7 megawatts of electricity per year. Designed specifically for the factory building, the 6000-panel configuration is able to save around 3,300 tonnes of carbon dioxide from power generation annually.
